Command for bulk insert?

I am using HSQL 1.7.2 and I find it to be very fast . I am planning to run a performance test with 1 million records in HSQL. I will need to go for bulk insert to load the tables in the HSQL.

 

Is there a command like:

 

LOAD DATA LOCAL INFILE 'filename' INTO TABLE table;

 

that will load the file containing data into the table.

 

I can use a script file but my past experience with MySQL shows that the script file is a slower option.
