over the weekend to fix a bug that the testing department missed.

IIRC, there's no Ant task or Maven goal to generate openejb-jar.xml 
file. You will have to do that step manually or if you create such a 
goal/task, I'll be the first who will ask you to contribute it to Geronimo.
