All non-GUI2 code needs to be Java 1.4 JSR 14 compliant.: msg#00056java.findbugs.general
Everything in Findbugs, including the Eclipse plugin, except for annotations and GUI2, should compile using JSR-14 and be runnable using a 1.4 JVM. The quickfix code contains a lot of 1.5 only method calls. Bill
