Using FindBugs programmatically

 Hi,

Does anybody have suggestions for running FindBugs programmatically?  I looked at the FindBugs ant task for guidance, but I would prefer to avoid wrapping the FindBugs command line.  Right now I'm trying to instantiate a FindBugs2 class and run the execute method, but I'd like to know if there's an easier way before I spend too much more time on this.
