enough information in bug reports?: msg#00056java.findbugs.general
Hi, I've been using findbugs regularly over the past weeks on a contract and have been pretty impressed with the results once I understood how to interpret the results to guide code reviews. It looks like things are in place for a basic multi-pass analysis, which I think will take things to the next level. Thanks, and keep up the good work! The place I'm currently contracting for was kind enough to give me permission to provide some amount of proprietary information in bug report -- a rare thing in my experience.Since the contract I'm on is about to end and I won't have access to the code afterward, I wanted to make sure there was enough detail in my bugs for the issues to be diagnosed and fixed. If not, please let me know what is needed. Here are the bug URLs in question: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1580915&group_id=96405&atid=614693 http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1578450&group_id=96405&atid=614693 http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1578432&group_id=96405&atid=614693 http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1578441&group_id=96405&atid=614693 Thanks again! -- tangled strands of DNA explain the way that I behave. http://www.clock.org/~matt
