[xmlc] xmlc options

Hi,

I have a couple of questions regarding xmlc options and generated
files :

1) what is the interest of the -generate-both option ?

Why would I need to generate interfaces for my docs ?

2) xmlc creates xxxxxx.java.optionCheck files. These files are empty in
my case. What are they intended for ?
