Subject: Re: Is the XMLC book still relevant?

Young here... obviously the dynamic loading/reloading stuff is obsolete now, but the majority of the book is still very relevant. We're doing a huge project here at SAMBA with xmlc and tomcat... leveraging the Composite View pattern that I describe in the presentation strategies section. I'm not making any money off the book... especially now that it's out of print. But I'm having a lot of fun re-reading it for a telesales web app that I'm building.

The stuff on building tables, strategies for page designs, using the the ability to generate interface and implementation files so that you can load multiple page implementations to that one interface... it's all still current.

Since the release of XMLC 2.2.x, I was wondering if the book 'Enhydra XMLC
Java Presentation Development' by Young is still considered relevant and
up-to-date?

If not, where is a good place to start learning about how to work with
XMLC that is relatively up-to-date?

Thanks,
