Subject: Re: current code browseable from web site?

Hi Mathew,

Yeah, we need to make a note on xmlc.enhydra.org that activity other than the mailing list has moved to...
http://forge.objectweb.org/projects/xmlc/

The latest binary release is XMLC-2.2-beta1. Things have changed in CVS a decent amount since then and we should have a 2.2 final release out in the next week or so, I would think. Enhydra 5.1 will include it, BTW.

Note that one of the nicest things about XMLC-2.2 (besides deferred parsing) is that it is no longer incompatible with Xerces2 which means that it is far easier to use than ever before with application servers that include Xerces2 by default.

it looks like things haven't changed in about 4 months. But since I
see people discussing current checkins here on the mailing list I
assume cvsweb is not pointing to the same cvs repository. Is that the
case? I also see, in cvsweb, a release notes file for XMLC 2.2 that is
7 months old:

http://xmlc.enhydra.org/software/cvs/cvsweb.cgi/Projects/xmlc/release/ release-notes/xmlc-2-2-release-note.html

But from this page it looks like 2.1 is the most recent release.

http://xmlc.enhydra.org/software/downloads/index.html

Could someone clue me in on what the most recent release is, where
development is, and what exactly cvsweb is looking at?
Thanks,
-M@
