1. if you set your URL to simply be anEvent, and then manualy added the

Yes, I did ;-)

2. org.enhydra.barracuda.plankton.http.HttpConverter does provide a
convenient mechanism for moving between a URL param string and a map, and
vica versa.

The package name is different in the barracuda release (1.1) I have (org.enhydra.barracuda.core.util.http.HttpConverter), but this seems what i was looking for, I will test that asap!

3. I'd be willing to consider modifying BLink so that getParam would show
parameters in the text url.

I guess that this zould be "the good thing", however it may not be everyone's opinion. However, the behaviour I described was definetely the behaviour I expected form it, and thanks to the HttpConverter's methods it shouldn't be too difficult to change.

Of course none of these solve your immediate problem, but they do illustrate
that a solution wouldn't be all that hard to reach.

I definitely think the HttpConverter's methods (I was too lazy to write to this extent myself) are the right answer for me, as long as BAction and BLink are not "parameter in actionUrl aware"!

Thanks for the support,

PS: By the way, what a pity the private concat() method in HttpConverter doesn't use StringBuffer, nor the methods are documented, but I have the source, so I can find out by myself ;-)
