Very true; my reason for being concerned about this is that getting the bug fixes into xerces is it has some lead time that xmlc has no control over. They have to be integrated and included in a xerces release before xmlc can take advantage of them. I haven't been following the xerces release schedule, so I don't know how long this would take. One thing that might be worth looking at is how many of the patches that are not part of the HMTL are still needed (or can be worked around in some other way). Using a patched HTML DOM might cause a lot less problems than requiring all of xerces. Mark
