Re: Newbie: Problems starting xmlc |
Did you know Enhydra 5 is out? Since this is an Enhyda issue, you
might want to post to that list. I think they have moved to an Ant
build as well. Not sure if they dropped the cygwin stuff altogether
or not? Enhydra 3.1 came with a seriously old version of
Cygwin. Sorry, can't be of help on that issue.

Hi,
I just started using XMLC on a Windows-Box with the Enhydra-Shell. On
my
Notebook with only one harddrive it seems to work fine. On my
desktop-box
with several harddrives and Partitions I always get an bash-error
"No such
file or directory" when trying this in the
"/usr/local/enhydra3.1/bin"
directory:
Enhydra$ ./xmlc
I think it has to do with the drives, because the command "pwd"
shows
"/usr/local/enhydra3.1/bin" on the single-drive machine,
and
"//c/usr/local/enhydra3.1/bin" on the multi-drive machine. But
the
following doesn't work neither:
Enhydra$ //c/usr/local/enhydra3.1/bin
I am not really good in Unix stuff, and didn't work with Cygwin
before.
Thanks for every hint about this!
Daniel
