Barracuda: RE: Xmlc: ant task: msg#00045java.enhydra.xmlc
Mike, I will cc your question to the Barracuda list. It's an active group, and many of them use the xmlc taskdef, also known as the localize taskdef, since it can create localized DOM class files automatically from your html at compile time. How do I prevent the source from going in with my html (or in a subdir of my html)? I'd like things to be arranged like this: basedir +- build.xml +- html | +- index.html +- generatedSource +- com +- foo +- myproj +- Index.java I'd also like to be able to put the generated source someplace completely different, like /tmp. Notice that I'd also like my html files to be lower case, and for xmlc (or the ant task) to capitalize the first letter as per java coding standards. Does the ant task check to make sure that the java file is newer than the html file before it builds? Is it smart enough to check SSI files? Is it time for me to start hacking on the ant task?
