As for the jikes test, seems that jikes 1.17 has gotten picky about using the
'$' character in identifiers. And XMLC starts all of the internally generated
variable names with a '$'. I don't have jikes 1.17 installed yet, so I can't
test this for myself. With jikes 1.15 (the version I'm at), things run fine.

In the javac test, the error in org.enhydra.xml.xmlc.html.MiscOptionsTests is
my fault - I forgot to put the expected result into CVS. The other errors
look like an encoding issue - I'm looking into it right now.

Best regards,

Richard
