Several patches have been submitted to Xerces in the past, however
none of the patches currently in the tree have been submitted.

The HTMLDocumentImpl change is not really as big as it seems, as it
is mostly removing some very bogus stuff from that class.  The class
was trying to reorder nodes in the document to make them `right'.
Not only is this out of the scope of what a DOM should do (IMHO);
but it was corrupting the DOM in some cases.
