hey
i have managed to get kxml working seems like J2ME wireless toolkit 2.0 onwards can preverify the classes. Now another problem is that version 2.0 support MIDP 2 which very few devices supports. Is there any way to go about using the 1.0.4 toolkit ?

Sam,
Please check if you also have the downloaded kxml zip file (with compiled classes) in the classpath i.e in the lib folder. This error occurs because of the compiler version mismatch.
Remove anything else from lib apart from the classes that you are compiling from the J2ME toolkit.

Manish.
Hi i need some help on kxml i am really new to this. i am using J2ME wireless toolkit 1.0.4. i saw a post quite some time ago regarding the same problem as i have.
i tried to solve it by downloading each java file neccesary and compiled it and then jar the classes up. i added the jar file into the "apps/lib" folder. Am i using the wrong classes?
the error:
Error preverifying class AbstractXmlParser
Class loading error: Bad magic number
com.sun.kvem.ktools.ExecutionException: Preverifier returned 1
Build failed
Please respond and any help on this would be great!! cheers!!
Regards,
Sam
