A problem about character encoding.

Hello…may I use the character encoding : Big5 on ksoap???
I tried to get the message response that is “Big5” word from a Web 
Service to a emulator,
But all I can see are words I cant understand, does ksoap support Big5 
word?or I can do something to let my word correctly appear?
