element insertion

2 questions:

 

1) Is it possible to check, if a xml-file (whitch I have in a string variable), is valid against an xml-schema (also in string variable) with the j2me and kxml?

 

2) Is it possible to insert into an xml-string single xml-elements without using kDom? Are there methods in kxml?
