java.enhydra.kxml

Subject: Re: String encoding

Hi Max,

kxml does not perform attribute value token encoding; attribute value token encoding is not required by the wbxml specification, it is an optional feature (in contrast to attribute value token decoding).

Best,
Stefan

Hi,

I am a newbe to this list and I need help with a very simple thing. I am using WmlWriter to encode an XML document and it all works fine if attribute values on xml elements should not be encoded. but as soon as I insert attribute which value is "http://www.google.com"; I cann't get the value encoded so that I have: 1 2 google 3. Can someone please help me out, can I actually force encoding for attribute values?? I checked Wml.java and it seems to contain mapping for "http://";, "www.", and ".com". Thanks in advance.
