Subject: Re: [enhydra] Problem alocating objectid

Hi,

Just a guess: did you tell enhydra not to use "oid" as the name of the objectid column ? It is a reserved word in postgresal. I don't have time to get it, but I think you can finde the necessary setting in the archives of the mailing list.

Hi,

I have a problem when trying to alocate a new objectid.
I'm using enhydra 6.4 and PostgreSQL 7.3.9-RH.

The error I'm getting is:

com.lutris.appserver.server.sql.ObjectIdAllocationError: ObjectIdAllocator: Failed to allocate object id. Caused by SQLException:
SQLState = null
SQLError = 0
SQLMsg = ERROR: parser: parse error at or near "." at character 29

at com.lutris.appserver.server.sql.StandardDatabaseManager.allocateObject Id(Unknown Source)

Does anyone know what is the reason for this error?

Thanks
