Subject: Re: [enhydra] Mod_jk2 and mod_jk

Hi,

Enhydra is Tomcat with integrated EAF and other Enhydra tools (DODS,
Octopus, Zeus, Ant, etc.)! One of those tools is MOD JK2 (deployed under
'Enhydra Conductor' name).
It is actually Tomcat-Apache WEB Server plugin which handles communication
between WEB Server (Apache and/or IIS) and Enhydra (Tomcat). It is deployed
as substitute for 'Enhydra Director' (Enhydra WEB Server plugin) in case of
Apache 2 - WEB Server (currently not supported by 'Enhydra Director').

We will consider 'Enhydra Conductor' update to recent MOD JK release
(because of JK2 development suspension).

Hope this clears it a bit!

Slobodan Vujasinovic
