Subject: Re: [enhydra] JK for connecting Apache 2.x and Enhydra 6.x?

Thanks for your answers. If I understood correctly, Enhydra Conductor is something we have on the application servers (where the Enhydra Server is deployed) to communicate with Apache 2.x.x. However I'm assuming that we also must install something on the Apache side (Linux environment) in order to connect to the Enhydra Conductor residing on the application servers. Is this assumption correct? In case it is, what do I need to install (mod_jk, other)?

Thanks,
Ricardo

Hi,

Enhydra Server comes with integrated (same way as Enhydra Director) Apache
JK. We call it 'Enhydra Conductor'.
Conductor is integrated with purpose to enable Apache 2.x - Enhydra Server
connections.

Subject: [enhydra] JK for connecting Apache 2.x and Enhydra 6.x?

Hi,

I'm planning to use in one of my projects Apache 2.x and Enhydra 6.3-1
(with Tomcat). So far I've only worked with Apache 1.x and Director to
connect Apache to my Enhydra Apps. What should I use to connect Apache
2.x to my applications in Enhydra 6.x? Is it the JK mod from the Apache
Jakarta project? Do you recommend using JK or are there other (and
possibly better) alternatives?

Thanks in advance,
Ricardo Tedim
