Subject: Re: deploying in jboss

I have an enhydra application deployed in jboss 3.0.6, working fine.
before that the application worked in enhydra standalone.

The application frontend has since been migrated from enhydra presentation objects to freemarker, so I think you should be able to migrate it to anything, including strtuts.

The only issue that we couldn't resolve is the fact that we couldn't convince enhydra to look for the .properties file inside the war archive. I checked enhydra source on the CVS and it only looks for it on the filesystem, so no hope. I asked several times on the for this bug, and submitted it on the bug tracker, but no one ever cared for it. I even sent a (untested) patch, but it was never included. But I guess it's not a very big problem.

Hi,
I deploy my enhydra apps in other servlet containers, and was wondering if
the bug that forced the .properties file to be outside the war archive is
fixed now.

Ricardo,

Did you ever get an answer to this? Or did you figure it out. I have an
Enhydra application that I want to port to Apache Struts and it'd be great
if I could just run it as a typical web application and use Enhydra and
Struts side by side.

Thanks,

Mark
