Increase memory allocation for Java

Hi,

        We are trying to increase the JVM memory allocation to more than 1GB, 
but
enhydra  server somehow doesn't like it and refuse to start. If we try with
1GB ('-java-arg -mx1024m) it works fine..we are using enhydra 5.0 on linux..

     any help?
