Re: Enhydra: Re: Enhydra: Questions about XML web publishing supported by Enhydra |
Hi !
we use FOP a lot in Enhydra 5.1 (e.g. to produce documentation from DODS
DOML XML-files). I currently do not know if there are open source samples of
XALAN/XSL under Enhydra. But it is really easy. Maybe somebody else from
here can help ?
Greetings.

Hi, Alfred,
Thank you very much for your message. So would you like to recommend some
applications to me in which Enhydra+Xalan2 is used? Can I just get some
open
source codes from internet? Thanks a lot.
Best regards
Yingwei

Hi !
Yes, Xerces and Xalan are a very good choice for ENhydra ! We are using
them
a lot in several big projects. To get better performance in XSL
transformations, you should use Xalan 2 !
We are also using Apache FOP to produce PDF output. You have to be
carefull,
which version of FOP you use and which XSL-FO elements are supported. FOP
is
still work in progress, but for our projects it is doing fine.
Greetings.
