How to stop DODS for looking for config file

Hi!

we wrote a application using Enhydra 3 and want to move them to Enhydra 5.1. 
How can we do this without using the dodsConf.xml and all the other files?

We do database access using the DBConnection from Enhydra but with normal
JDBC - but when I start our application, Enhydra complains about not finding 
dodsConf.xml (see below).
