Enhydra and servlets: msg#00007java.enhydra.general
Hi, Is there any documentation available on how to make servlets work under Enhydra 5.0... To start with, I want to access a trivial servlet saying hello world... named Dummy Under Tomcat I copy the Dummy.class to /opt/jakarta/webapps/tst/WEB-INF/classes and access it by typing http://localhost:8000/tst/Dummy... and it works after 1 minutes... Under Enhydra, I am now spending already 3 days to find any appropriate documentation.... and nothing.. no way to get any intelligent response or even a usefull error message... I tried by manipulating the mutliserver.conf file where I even defined a new channel, I used the admin guide... where I just enter the Servlet name and a Docroot being the directory the class file is sitting in... No way to sort out where Enhydra is looking for the class files... I start having some serious doubts if it is possible to simply access Servlets through Enhydra or do they need to be packaged in a very special way.. Hopefully someone can give me some hints..
