javacc.jar won't work

The instructions for loading JavaCC are a little dated, The site given 
sends you to Sun where a newer version is all that is available (3.0). 
The new version doesn't have a zip file at all but the build seems 
determined to use JavaCC.zip rather than the javacc.jar supplied. I'm 
building from the enhydra-src5.1.tar.gz and set the path like so:

jdk.dir-/Library/Java/HOME
javacc.dir=/usr/local/javacc-3.0

This is on MacOSX Server 10.2.6

What can I change to get it to user the jar file?
