Would it be possible to make it available a bit sooner so that someone
could review it and perhaps suggest some fixes before the final release?

Yes, I know. That's OK.

I would even suggest to remove my RandomParameter patch (that one adding
"?t=currentTimeMillis()") since it was never documented and so probably
unused by other people and I have just found a clean way how to do it
from within my application - I simply replace writeDOM(page) with
writeDOM(outputOptions, page) and set the URLRewriter in the
outputOptions.
