Enhydra 5.1 Eclipse plug-in

I was checking out the 5.1 beta release and was excited to see an
Eclipse plug-in but dissapointed that it's only a Windows exe file,
could it be packaged as a zip or tar.gz also for non-Windows users? What
about using the Eclipse Update Manager?
