Business Layer From Dods: msg#00070java.enhydra.general
I'm sure this has been discussed before, but I have perused the archives and found very little of any sort of a resolution. Here's the deal. I have just started a major project with a large, existing database. I have imported the objects into DODS, and automatically built the data layer, which is super and looks great. Is there anyway now that I can automatically generate a basic business layer, so that I don't have to hand generate accessors, mutators, commit and deletes for all the data layer stuff? I've done it before on other projects and it's slow, dull coding. It looks like we're gonna be using Enhydra5.0 on jdk1.4.1, in redhat 7.3, just to give you all a heads of up our operating environment. Laziness is key, and while I could probably hash something out in perl or even java that'll do it, I figured it'd be easier to ask the community first. Thanks in advance, Francis
