There is a method called getElementById(String id).
(Inherited from HTMLObjectImpl)

Subject: Enhydra: retrieving an HTMLElement by its id

 Hi!

Is there a function I can use to retrieve an HTMLElement by its id- passing the id as an argument of the function?

I need something like

 my_html.getElementByID(an_id);

where an_id is a String with the value of the id.

 I know there is a function named getElementsByTagName(java.lang.String). So maybe there is one for the ids too.

Thanks,

 Camila
