Subject: RE: Where is DODS GUI in 4.1 Release?

Dane,

Sorry, I should have explained the path was for my specific setup. The
generic version would be:
$DODS_HOME/WEB-INF/jars
As you surmised.

It's been a while, but the only other thing I can recall is that the
whole thing didn't work unless I got the very latest code from CVS (this
was close to a year ago) and re-built everything. I hope that helps.
Just in case, I've attached my dods.jar, but I can't vouch for any
library dependencies.

Cheers,

Claudio

Thanks for the note Claudio. I tried what you suggested, but noticed
that dods.jar is in

/WEB-INF/lib

and when I tried to run it using

java -jar dods.jar

I got:

"Failed to load Main-Class manifest attribute from
dods.jar"

Hmm . . . I tried running all the .jar files in the

/WEB-INF/jars

directory using the same "java -jar JARFILENAME" syntax, but only the
merlot.jar file worked, and it opened the merlot xml tool, not DODS.

Am I missing something here?

Thanks,

-Dane
