Subject: Re: New web project considering framework

1. correct... you can build class WAR servlet appilcations with enhydra
using taking advantage of xmlc.
2. correct again.
3. correct again... the majority of the world is afraid to become
dependent on xmlc/barracuda as an alternative to jsp/struts because jsp
is a standard and therefore "safe." The new SunONE spec, issued by Sun
last Spring, purposely accounted for DOM-based approaches to Web
presentations (as an alternative to the Template (JSP) approach) in
order to acknowledge XMLC/Varracuda... but it's still not "safe enough"
for many.

On a commercial note, and in this economy I don't mind being so blatant,
check out my book "Enhydra XMLC for Java Presentation Development at:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0672322110/qid=1036168176/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_1/002-8125207-1617647?v=glance&n=507846
There are specific examples of how to develop WAR applications with XMLC
presentations.

Best of luck,
David
