BindAddress + apache - how to: msg#00101java.enhydra.general
Hi, I've been looking at a problem for quite a few hours now and finally worked out what is wrong - Doh! I'm trying to bind Enhydra to a specific address using BindAddress and port 80 I've added debug to HttpConnectionMethod and realised finally that there really is nothing incorrect. Of course apache is also running on this machine (cobolt server) and it is not bound to an address (i.e. netstat shows as 0.0.0.0:80) which means I cannot bind to a specific address a.b.c.d:80 I guess I'll work out how to stop apache using one of the 6 addresses but it's now 5:25am and I'll try apache later :-) So ... in the mean time ... if someone would be nice enough to tell me what they did in exactly the same situation, I would be most greatful :-) :-) i.e. the change to apache.conf - I can't think straight at the moment and any hints for when I wake up later would be most appreciated :-) :-) -- -Cheers -Andrew MS ... if only he hadn't been hang gliding!
