DWRUtil.addRows demo example issue

Hi,

I copied and pasted the first demo example for DWRUtil.addRows 
(http://getahead.ltd.uk/dwr/browser/tables)  into a jsp .

All tables column elements were created successfully except the button 
column.

Instead of displaying Test buttons, the browser (FF2) showed  this String: 
<input type='button' value='Test' onclick='alert(\"Hi\");'/>.

How can I fix this issue please?

I will be very grateful for help since my  project deadline is approaching 
very fast...
