Supported Environments - websvr forward to appsvr and changes url: msg#00108java.dwr.user
The Supported Environments documentation page (http://getahead.ltd.uk/dwr/browser/environment) states that... "In version 1.0 we only know of 2 environments where DWR may cause problems. DWR fails when your appserver is fronted by a webserver that alters URLs in a way that the appserver is not expecting and there may be some issues running with DWR in Vignette portal." This webserver/appserver relationship is exactly how my environment is setup. For example requests to the webserver are in the form http://<domain>/a/b/ and this forwards to the application server where requests are in the format http://<domain/b/. Since I saw that note on the documentation page, I upgraded my DWR to version 2.0, but this alone did not solve my problem. The problem is that the POSTs on the webserver look like /b/ when it should be /a/b/. Of course everything works fine when you access the appserver directly. Is this type of configuration supported and if so, any tips on how I can configure my DWR setup to work within this environment? Thank you, FrenchFry _________________________________________________________________ Get in the mood for Valentine's Day.
