Re: Cruisecontrol locks up

We're using 2.1.4, with four projects. We lock up several times a day. 
I have a cron job to restart Cruisecontrol every few hours. There is no 
obvious pattern to the problem, as it will happen sometimes after a 
successful build, sometimes after an unsuccessful build, with any one 
of our projects. It does seem to happen most often after it wakes up in 
the morning and does a build that had been queued up.

This is on a RH9 box. I've tried the following JDKs:

  Sun 1.4.1
  Sun 1.4.1_01
  Sun 1.4.2_02
  Sun 1.3.1_08
  IBM 1.3.1
  IBM 1.4.1

None of them seem to help.

It is still useful enough even in its current state. We've been using 
it for six months, upgrading with each new release. None has worked 
particularly better than any of the others. We use Cactus for some of 
our tests, which seems to be a common trait amongst people reporting 
hanging problems with CC.

The xml log files tend to be pretty big. For our successful builds, it 
runs about 2.5MB. We allocate 256MB of memory to CC.
