I have made and uploaded a 4.4 release which I will announce more widely next week. Please check it out.
Now is a good time to explain the Subversion structure. The trunk is
https://checkstyle.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/checkstyle/trunk/checkstyle and is now setup for Version 5.x of Checkstyle.
The branch to support Version 4.x of Checkstyle is
https://checkstyle.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/checkstyle/branches/v4-branch/checkstyle. Any changes made here will not be automatically taken across to the trunk. You will need to make the changes manually to trunk.
All releases are tagged under https://checkstyle.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/checkstyle/tags. You will notice that the import from CVS went well and we did not loss any history.
