Choosing A Webhost:
A web hosting service is a type of Internet hosting service that allows individuals and organizations to provide their own website accessible via the World Wide Web. Web hosts are companies that provide space on a server they own for use by their clients as well as providing Internet connectivity, typically in a data center. Web hosts can also provide data center space and connectivity to the Internet for servers they do not own to be located in their data center, called colocation. more...

Subject: Re: derby dependency?

Thanks for the help John. You last message made me realize my problem. I was
running 'maven eclipse' because I wanted to work there. But that goal does not
require the regular builds. After issueing just 'maven' in the root directory,
everything building fine. (Now I'm sure the eclipse projects will build.)

What directory are you in when you run maven and what command are you issuing? Can you include the build output so people can see what is happening..

I'm not sure what you are doing, but try changing to the activemq\modules\core directory and running maven there. AFAIK, that should cause the test jars to be placed in your local maven repository. After you have done that you should be able to run maven from the activemq directory.

I am going to be out of the office for a while, so hopefully someone else will help if you still have problems.

John

The derby jars are taken from http://cvs.apache.org/repository

Make sure you haven't modified the maven.repo.remote property in the activemq\project.properties file or have overridden the property at another level of maven's properties hierarchy..

Ah, yes. I did have it overridden. Thanks. After removing it, I still have two dependencies I can't seem to get:

1. activemq-core-test-3.0-SNAPSHOT.jar when building the 3.0 source distribution
2. activemq-core-test-3.1-SNAPSHOT.jar when building svn head
