Do you assume your customers for your app only use the latest JRE and  
OSX? If not how do you test against different versions of each? Seems  
like any serious shop would be setup to do so. External drives are  
cheap (and very small/light). One with a decent amount of storage can  
easily host 4 or more versions of things.
