Right - I think things may have changed a bit with per segment as well - 
you have to a pay a bit more for more segments due to the queue mapping. 
Even still, I think for 10's of segments, it wasn't a significant cost. 
Most of the tail segments will be very small.

Time to get out the benchmarker ...
