Note: battery life gets shortened a LOT if you completely let your ipod run them dry all the time. Lithion Ion systems last longest (and dont get hurt) when you just recharge them 24/7 > So, I just bought on ebay a sealed 30gb for 448.99 > including shipping, I couldn't resisr, the main > question is: > > Do I have to load the piece of crap apple software or > can I just plug it in and ephpod will find it? Provided it's a windows pod, yes. Even without ephpod, windows will recognise it. If it's a mac pod, download the windows convertor from apple.com and convert it to FAT32. (although ephpod+macopener can read it without converting it, why would you?) In fact, why would anyone use a MAC-formatted pod? Mac's can read windows pods fine, mac pods too of course, and windows can just read windows pods out of the box. What would be the upside of a mac pod be? All pretty straightforward. ------------------------------------------------------ ephPod Mailing List FAQ and HomePage http://www.ephpod.com mailto:ephpod-on@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx to susbcribe mailto:ephpod-off@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx to unsusbcribe mailto:ephpod@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx the mailing-list itself |
