This depends on one thing - do you wish to keep it a Mac iPod, or do you
want it to become a Windows iPod?

If you choose the later, simply download the Windows 1.2.6 Update from the
Apple website and fire away (backup your data first). If you want to keep it
as a Mac iPod, then...

1) Download the Apple updater (OS9 version)
2) Use the firmware extractor from http://members.cox.net/ipodtools to ,
erm, extract the firmware from the Apple updater.
3) Use the Podtronics updates from http://www.podtronics.com/ to update the
firmware

More precise instructions can be found at the above sites.
