Try a different tagging tool. I use Magnus Brading's MP3 tag studio. Works
well for me, and I make extensive use of custom genre info in my files.

Subject: [ephpod] HELP

I have a problem with Ephpod. When I put mp3's on my computer, I make sure
to put the track number, genre, and album in the information. When I
syncronyze the folder to my iPod, a few albums do not have a genre. I added
genres to them through Ephpod, and then it worked. The problem is that when
I syncronyze the folder again with my iPod, the albums lose their genres
again, even though the mp3 files have a genre in their summary information.
What can I do to fix this problem? (I made sure that there were no special
characters in any of the information for the albums that are losing their
genres).

Thanks, Alex
