Contract Field Support Technicians

EMR Data Services is seeking qualified Field Support Technicians on a
contract basis with possibility of full time employment. We are rapidly
expanding our customer support department and need an on-call team to
services our growing client base.

EMR Data Services is a local Internet Service Provider that also
provides network and communications solutions for our clients. 

The candidate for this position needs to have a well-rounded knowledge
of Windows networking environments, able to troubleshoot and think
out-of-the-box.

Minimum 2 years experience as a Systems Administrator preferred, with a
comprehensive knowledge of Windows Server and client operations from
Windows 98 to Vista operating systems. Understanding of Internet
networking protocols and appliances is required. Minimum of 1 year
experience in premise cabling and telecommunications installation,
including pulling cable, terminating cable at block and wall jack
locations and testing/verification thereof.

The candidate must be familiar with:

SOFTWARE: Win 98, NT, 2000, XP and Vista desktop environments. Windows
Server 2000, SBS Server, MS Office apps. Experience with Point 6.0 a
plus.

NETWORKING: Hubs, switches, wireless LAN and VPN configuration.
Firewalls and router configuration a plus.

CABLING: Cat5e cable termination at punch-down block and jack locations
(both in wall and standard connector installations). Familiarity with
phone system installation and support a plus.

The candidate must have reliable transportation to service clients
throughout the Phoenix/Scottsdale metropolitan area, from Gilbert to Sun
City and all areas in between. The candidate must be able to be
presentable in a corporate environment and be able to communicate
effectively with the client.
