Kyocera is one of the world's largest vertically-integrated producers and 
suppliers of solar energy products. Our American solar division is 
headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, with regional sales affiliates in the 
Americas and Australia.
 
We are currently looking for a Product Development Engineer.  This person will 
help to complete many of the day to day logistical aspects of the engineering 
development process.  For Instance, designing, engineering, assembling, and 
troubleshooting electronic, electrical, mechanical, or structural components, 
products or systems.  Other duties will consist of building various prototypes, 
designing mechanical pieces, creating and updating drawings including AutoCAD 
programming and acting as the liaison between internal departments such as 
purchasing, manufacturing and sales & marketing.  
 
Requirements:
 
·         Bachelor of Science Degree in any Engineering discipline, preferably 
a EE
·         5 years work experience in electronic, computer or electrical related 
industries
·         3+ years in new product development environment working with 
marketing, sales, production and finance
·         Solar energy experience preferred
·         Independently completes assigned tasks within the required schedule 
and budget while demonstrating a high level of quality and professionalism
·         Proficiency in written, verbal, and electronic communication is 
required
