Systems Administrator Job Opening - Inter-Tel - Tempe

Systems Administrator will be responsible for Windows Server, Veritas
Netbackup, and Microsoft SQL server administration and supporting
software applications. Responsible for working issues related to support
tickets as well as issues uncovered through examination of server logs
and monitoring reports. This position works very closely with
administrators of our monitoring systems to ensure that all systems are
properly monitored and managed.

*Administration of the Windows servers in a Active Directory environment
*Troubleshoot problems with Microsoft SQL 
*Administration of the enterprise Veritas Netbackup
*Monitor system logs, capacity, and activity levels on all servers and
devices
*May lead or participate in new product upgrades to internal computer
systems
*Provide off-hours support on a rotating schedule

Required Skills:
*Excellent knowledge and troubleshooting skills of Windows Server and
Active Directory
*Broad knowledge of operating systems, scripting languages and hardware
*Administration knowledge with MS SQL Server
*Knowledge and troubleshooting skills with Linux preferred
*Ability and desire to learn new skills quickly
*Effectively communicate issues and resolutions to all levels of the
organization
*Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
*Bachelor of Science degree preferred
