Project Manager Job Opening - Chandler, AZ

We are currently seeking a Project Manager who will be responsible for
managing, from initiation to delivery, one or more assigned projects of
moderate complexity with regard to specific product lines within the
Company's product portfolio. This position ensures that all scope,
quality, budgetary and scheduling targets and requirements are met.

Position duties include developing and maintaining comprehensive
schedules to ensure timely completion of one or more moderately complex
engineering project.

* Identifies appropriate resources needed and acquires resources
necessary for project deliverable
* Manages, coordinates and monitors people, work and resources involved
in one or more complex technical projects from initiation through
delivery
* Serves as liaison between technical and non-technical departments in
order to ensure that all targets and requirements are met
* Serves as a central point of information to relay, facilitate and keep
stakeholders apprised of project status
* Some travel both domestic and international is required.

Requires:
* 4+ years of project management experience in the telecommunications or
converged data-network industry 
* Strong understanding of technology behind voice and data processing as
it relates to telecommunications products
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Proficient using Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and
Outlook
* Formal training in project management practices, theories, and
processes with a focus in the areas of Risk Management and Requirements
Management
*Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Business Management, Computer
Science or an Engineering related field.

Desirable
* Experience with Project Server 2003 and Windows SharePoint Services
* Understanding of SIP
* Experience managing remote and virtual teams, third-party vendors
* PMP Certification
