Re: Urgent Need for a Systems Engineer ASAP!

We are looking for a Sr. Engineer with the following skill set contract
to hire in Phoenix Area:

 

*        5-7 years within Engineer related work experience.

*        Solid understanding of TCP/IP is a must.

*        Candidate must be able to understand and configure DNS, WINS,
and DHCP. 

*        Ability to maintain and troubleshoot Active Directory.

*        Must be knowledgeable in basic Windows 2003, 2000 network
administration duties including user's accounts and resource
permissions, back-up software and procedures and creation of mailboxes
on Exchange Server 2000, 2003.

*        Must have experience in system configuration - laptops and
desktops, installing from a software tree, configuration of RAS, VPN and
D/U networking.

*        Must be proficient in documentation of processes and procedures
used in the operation of a network, configuration of a system and
troubleshooting an operational problem.

*        Desired technical certifications include A+ or equivalent
demonstrated proficiency, MCSE preferred but not required.  Knowledge of
Visio desirable.

*        Must possess good customer support skills and the ability to
translate customer-described problems into technical terms that lead to
appropriate solutions.

*        The Technical Support person interfaces at all levels within
the company.  Incumbent must be a continuous learner and possess
independent problem solving and decision-making skills.  Position
demands the ability to prioritize problems weighing the business
criticality of calls received.

*        Errors made by Network & Systems Administrator may result in
system downtime, which could significantly impact the company both
financially and in terms of customer service.

*        Must be able to configure Cisco routers and switches, knowledge
of the Cisco 6500 switches desired.
