Sr. UNIX Administrator - Chandler, AZ

Senior UNIX Administrator
Location: Chandler, AZ 
Terms: Direct Hire
Status: Full-time
Job Description/Essential Functions:
Minimum Qualifications/education/Experience (or equivalent combination
of experience and education):
Bachelors degree in Computer science or equivalent experience. Strong
scripting skills in a UNIX environment. Process and procedure oriented
with a strong propensity for managing systems in a highly structured
way. Minimum of 5 years UNIX support experience required. Current
secret clearance or the ability to attain one required.

Skills Needed:
Candidate Must Possess the Following Skills:
Skill 1: Strong UNIX/LINUX support skills including Red Hat, Solaris,
and LDAP support experience.
Skill 2: experience supporting enterprise class data storage equipment
including NAS or SAN environments.
Skill 3: Strong server hardware maintenance skills (HP, Sun, and Dell).
Skill 4: Experience supporting disaster recovery and backup systems
(Tivoli, Veritas).
Skill 5: Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Duties Specific to the Position:
Experience supporting HP P&C class blades a plus. Experience
supporting high performance computing clusters also a plus. Experience
with VMWare ESX a plus. Current RHCE preferred. Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
BS or equivalent experience and five years of related experience is
required.
